This combined Synopsis/Solicitation Notice is to announce the U.S. Department of Interior (DOI), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) has a requirement to upgrade a nutrient supergage as a part of the NGWOS program in the Illinois River Basin. This requires a new 40 ft service pole to be installed and an overhead line of power connected to the new pole. A meterbase will also need to be installed on the pole for the power company to connect a meter in accordance with the attached solicitation. 2. The synopsis/solicitation number is 140G0222Q0130 and is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). 3. The policies contained in FAR Part 12, in conjunction with the policies and procedures for solicitation, evaluation, and award prescribed in Part 13, as appropriate shall be used for this acquisition. 4. This is set aside for Small Business. The associated NAICS Code is 237110 ¿ Utility Line (i.e., sewer, water) construction. 5.Offerors shall include a Unique Entity ID (UEI) with quote.
