This Solicitation Notice is to announce the U.S. Department of the Interior (DOI), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Central Mineral and Environmental Resources Science Center (CMERSC) has a requirement for carrying out temporary geophysical surveys within the backcountry of Yellowstone National Park (YNP) and requires the services of an outfitter to establish and recover a series of drop camps in the park over a one-month period between August and September of 2022. The outfitter must be licensed and certified to provide such services within YNP. All operations shall be conducted with safety and environmental awareness as top priorities in accordance with the attached Salient Characteristics. The solicitation number is 140G022Q0066 and is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The policies contained in FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items, shall be used for this acquisition. This is a 100% Small Business Set-aside. The associated NAICS code is 115310 Support Activities for Forestry with business size standard of $8.
