Amendment 0002: (1) Answers Questions 05 through 09 as Attachment 6; and (2) Extends the Responses Due Date to 08/10/2021. Amendment 0001 answers Questions 01 through 04 as Attachment 5. This Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Notice is to announce the U.S. Department of the Interior (DOI), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) has a requirement for the demolition and removal of a stilling well along the Des Moines River, Ottumwa IA USA. The policies contained in FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition in conjunction with the policies and procedures for solicitation, with evaluation and award prescribed in Part 15, as appropriate, shall be used for this acquisition. Set-aside. This is a 100% Small Business Set-aside. The associated NAICS code is 238910 Site Preparation Contractors, which has a small business size standard of $16.50M. In accordance with FAR 36.204 Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects, the estimated construction price is: (b) Between $25,000 and $100,000. Site Visit. An organized site visit has been scheduled for Thursday, July 22, 2021 at 1200 1000 local time. Interested vendors shall meet at the Ottumwa IA site (lat 41.010778, long -92.411508). Vendors interested in attending the Site Visit shall notify Kevin Townsend, ktownsen@usgs.gov, and Cc Don Downey, ddowney@usgs.gov, by email, by not later than 1200 noon on the workday prior to the site visit. The email message shall include: the firm¿s name, address, and website; and, each visitor¿s name, email address and phone number. Each visitor must have a government-issued, picture ID such as a driver¿s license. Award Based on Trade-off. This solicitation is a Request for Proposal (RFP) for an award based on Trade-off criteria. Offerors shall provide non-price support documentation in accordance with Sections L and M.
