SOURCES SOUGHT: This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE. The Department of the Interior (DOI), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), is conducting a MARKET SURVEY to determine the interest and capability of any firm eligible to compete under NAICS code 334516 Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing with a Small Business Size Standard of 1,000 employees for an upcoming requirement to deliver and install a LASER PARTICLE SIZE ANALYZER in accordance with the attached, drafted Brand Name Specifications, Brand Name Salient Characteristics, Work Statement, and Basis for Award by Trade-off. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. ALL COST ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING INFORMATION AS REQUESTED BY THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE SHALL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CONTRACTOR. Submission is voluntary. Interested small business firms who feel that they can provide the requirement, are invited to submit an affirmative response to this announcement by email to Don Downey, ddowney@usgs.gov.
