This Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Notice is to announce the U.S. Department of the Interior (DOI), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) has a requirement for construction of the electrical connection between the power source and the USGS water gage structure located at Waterville, OH USA. The policies contained in FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition in conjunction with the policies and procedures for solicitation, with evaluation and award prescribed in Part 15, as appropriate, shall be used for this acquisition. Set-aside. This is a 100% Small Business Set-aside. The associated NAICS code is 238210 Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors, which has a small business size standard of $16.5M. In accordance with FAR 36.204 Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects, the estimated construction price is: (a) less than $25,000.00. Site Visit. An organized site visit has been scheduled for Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at 10:00 AM local time. Interested vendors shall meet at the Parking Lot at 14 N. River Rd, Waterville, OH 43566. Vendors interested in attending the Site Visit shall notify Chad Toussant, ctoussant@usgs.gov, and Cc Don Downey, ddowney@usgs.gov, by email, by not later than 1200 noon on the workday prior to the site visit. The email message shall include: the firm¿s name, address, and website; and, each visitor¿s name, email address and phone number. Each visitor must have a government-issued, picture ID such as a driver¿s license. Award Based on Trade-off. This solicitation is a Request for Proposal (RFP) for an award based on FAR Part 15 Trade-off. Offerors shall provide non-price support documentation in accordance with Sections L and M.
