DVR AND CAMERA REPLACEMENT The purpose of this sources sought is to determine the availability and capability of interested small businesses to include, small business, veteran-owned small business, service-disabled veteran-owned small business, HUBZone small business, small disadvantaged business, women-owned small business, and 8(a) small business to provide A DVR replacement system that is IP based and can integrate with USGS FORT¿s current environment. The new DVR and Camera solution could have the potential ability to integrate with USGS FORT¿s Physical Access Management System. This notice is being posted for fact finding and planning purposes only and shall NOT be construed as an Invitation for Bid, a Request for Proposal, Solicitation, Request for Quotes, or an indication the Government will contract for the items or services herein. Responses to this source sought will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. Responses to this sources sought synopsis are not considered adequate responses to the solicitation announcement. All interested offerors will have to respond to the solicitation announcement in addition to responding to this sources sought announcement. This notice is not to be construed as a commitment on the part of the Government to award a contract, nor does the Government intend to pay for any information submitted as a result of this notice. The Government does not reimburse respondents for any cost associated with submission of the information being requested or reimburse expenses incurred to interested parties for responses to this source sought. Any response received will not be used as a proposal. The NAICS code is 561621 size standard $22 million All firms interested in this sources sought must be registered with or have the ability to register with the System for Award Management (SAM), in order to receive a Federal contract award. To allow the USGS Fort Collins Science Center to be able to replace their current legacy DVR and camera system with an updated solution that can reduce onsite needs, increase resolution and clarity, keep in line with retention needs and to be able to grow into new features as they become available or FEDRAMP approved. TASKS/TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS Current System: ¿ ExaqQ Vision NVR with mixture of analog and IP cameras ¿ 16 Analog Cameras o Panasonic WV-CW504 ¿ 5 IP Cameras o 2 Sony SNC-DH160 o 2 Sony SNC-DH120 ¿ Current eDVR400 is currently running on 3 HDD¿s with ~ 5TB of storage. New System Requirements: ¿ Solution to include at least 12 indoor and 9 Outdoor IP based cameras with at least 4k resolution. Wide angle IP based cameras to be used where consolidation is possible. ¿ Pan, tilt, zoom is not required. ¿ Solution to include browser-based viewing capabilities or through a client application. ¿ Retention time of at least 90 - 120 days of recording ¿ Integration to local Physical Access Control Systems desired, but not required. ¿ Ability to turn on and off cloud storage capabilities. Cloud is not approved at this time for USGS camera systems. ¿ Enterprise Grade Network switch needed to accommodate all networking and PoE needs for cameras to connect to if applicable. ¿ Installation of solution is required at the USGS Fort Collins Science Center that includes all labor, conduit, and cabling needs located in Fort Collins, CO ¿ Solution must not be a Chinese manufactured product. ¿ Solution must be new and non-refurbished. Capability and Technical Experience - Interested parties should submit capability statement describing adequate training and experience in scientific and technical appropriateness in reference to the potential work to be performed.
