This Solicitation/Synopsis Notice is to announce the U.S. Department of Interior (DOI), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) has a requirement for the installation of THREE EXTERIOR STAIR SYSTEMS in Columbia, MO 65201 and in accordance with the attached solicitation. This is a 100% small business Set-aside. The associated NAICS code is 238190 - Other Foundation, Structure, and Building Exterior Contractors. In accordance with FAR 36.204 Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects, the estimated construction price is between $250,000 and $500,000. The purpose of this pre-solicitation notice is to notify that the U.S. Geological Survey, Columbia Environmental Research Center, Columbia, MO, 65201 plans to solicit offers for construction services regarding new egress/ingress gates, asphalt resurfacing and additional parking under Solicitation No. 140G0220R0014. The Government intends to award a single contract with a completion date of 180 days after issuance of Notice to Proceed. The applicable North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS Code) is 238190 - Other Foundation, Structure, and Building Exterior Contractors with a size standard of $15 million. The completion date will be 180 days after issuance of Notice to Proceed. This requirement is a total small business set-aside. The contract type is a firm-fixed price contract and will be awarded based on Best Value based upon price and other factors. Solicitation No. 140G0220R0014 will be issued on or about April 1, 2020. The closing date and time for submission of offers will be contained in the solicitation package.
