Amendment 0002 is issued to add photo's to help with the answers to the questions received in amendment 0001. Amendment 0001 is issued to respond to questions received: 1. Main Hot Water Supply and Return Pipe Size-1 1/4 4. Natural Gas: Pressure in Mechanical Room-Low PSI. Pipe Size to Mechanical Room-1 1/4 at boiler and 1 1/2 coming into building. 5. This Synopsis/Solicitation is to announce the U.S. Department of Interior (DOI), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) has a requirement for the replacement of six existing split systems and the replacement of a gas fired hot water boiler in accordance with the attached solicitation. The solicitation number is 140G0220Q0064 and is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The policies contained in FAR Part 12, in conjunction with the policies and procedures for solicitation, evaluation and award prescribed in Part 13, as appropriate, shall be used for this acquisition. This is a 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. The associated NAICS Code is 238220 - Plumbing, Heating and Air-Conditioning Contractors. All requirements for preparation, submission, and receipt of quotes are contained in this solicitation and shall be adhered to.
