These access stairways will facilitate maintenance procedures to the roof top of both buildings. 2) Are details of the fascia available? See photo. 3) Are plans available of the underground utilities? Photos included. Please note that plans might not include all underground utilities. Contractor is responsible for contacting "1-800-DIG-RITE (344-7483)" before digging. 4)What material are the thread nosing? All construction material shall be galvanized and designed for outdoor use. Galvanized steel or extruded aluminum are acceptable materials. 5) Is there anything that would impede access from the corners of the parapet of Chem Storage building? No. There isn't anything that would block access within 3 feet from the corners of the parapet. 6) Will you need to step down from the roof elevation? Yes. 7) What is the expected footprint of the stairway? Our estimate give us a measurement of approx. 22ft for a straight staircase for Chem Storage and approximately 24ft for C-3. A switchback would be about half, respectively. 8) Can the exterior security light on C-3 be moved if necessary? Yes. Amendment P0001 includes photos of Building C-3 and Chemical Storage Building. This Solicitation/Synopsis Notice is to announce the U.S. Department of Interior (DOI), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) has a requirement for Providing and Installation of two (2) EXTERIOR METAL STAIR SYSTEM on Building C-3 and Chemical Storage Building in Columbia, MO and in accordance with the attached solicitation. The solicitation number is 140G0220Q0063 and is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The policies contained in FAR Part 12, in conjunction with the policies and procedures for solicitation, evaluation and award prescribed in FAR Part 13, as appropriate, shall be used for this acquisition. This is a 100% Small Business Set-aside. The associated NAICS code is 238190 Other Foundation, Structure, and Building Exterior Contractors.
