The USGS intends to award a non-competitive, five-year contract to YSI Inc. for hydrological instruments, equipment, repairs, and maintenance. Performance and delivery will be at the USGS Hydrologic Instrumentation Facility in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The contract is justified because YSI is the sole manufacturer and service provider for this essential equipment used in the national stream gaging network.
