The USGS is requesting quotes from small businesses for a brand name or equal Norbit WINGHEAD X Elite multibeam echo sounder system. The system must be lightweight and portable, with integrated GNSS inertial navigation, acquisition software, and on-site equipment and training. It is intended for high-resolution digital acoustic seafloor mapping of near-shore coastal waters, inland waterways, and shelf depths up to 300 meters. Vendors must have a valid SAM UEI number and registration to be eligible. Quotations are to be submitted electronically via email to the specified contract specialist.
