The U.S. Geological Survey intends to award a noncompetitive, fixed-price purchase order to Malvern Panalytical Inc. for a service and maintenance agreement for a specific X-ray diffractometer. The period of performance will be from the date of award through April 12, 2027. The services will be performed for equipment located in Reston, Virginia. This noncompetitive action is justified because Malvern is the original equipment manufacturer and the only authorized service provider for the system.
