The purpose of this amendment is to remove the Fully Burdened Hourly Labor Rates for Supervisor and Custodian from the Schedule of Services. Vendors shall submit a fixed price monthly and annual price, inclusive of all work in the Statement of Work and solicitation. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged. SOLICITATION DESCRIPTION: The U.S Geological Survey is seeking a contractor to provide janitorial services for the USGS South Atlantic Water Science Center ¿ Charleston Field Office, 5801 N Highway 17 Awendaw, SC 29429 (Located at Cape Romain Headquarters Building) The work performed under this order shall be completed on Tuesdays and Thursdays between the business hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM except for Federal holidays, or administrative closures. The Contractor will provide all services, supplies, materials, equipment, administration, supervision, and labor. Janitorial services will be performed in the spaces that include: eight (8) offices; one (1) kitchen/breakroom; one (1) conference room; one (1) Men's restroom with stall, urinal, sink; one (1) Women's restroom single room; and one (1) front entry way with desk. See Attachment 1 for Performance Work Statement, Attachment 2 for facility photos. Note that there is no incumbent contractor. This shall be a firm fixed-price purchase order with a performance period of a base year, plus four option-years. The acquisition is being conducted under the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and set-aside for small businesses. The NAICS code is 561720, Janitorial Services, Size Standard $22 million. Quotes are due no later than April 28, 2025, 0900 Eastern Time. The award will be made to the offer that provides the best value to Government based on technical capability (up to 10 pages including similar projects) and price. Refer to RFQ Section E for instructions and evaluation factors. Vendors must be registered at https://www.sam.gov/ to be awarded the contract. The award date is anticipated by April 30, 2025.
