The USGS Eastern Ecological Science Center has a requirement for the dredging of Pond 3 and one chlorine contact tank (concrete basin). The specific dredging includes, but not limited to the following: Amendment 0001 has been implemented to provide Questions and Answers, reference B09 Attachment 8 Questions and Answers document. The closing date has been extended from: 01/17/2025 10:00 am pacific standard time to: 01/24/2025 10:00 am pacific standard time. Amendment 0002 has been implemented to provide Question and Answer, reference B09 Attachment 9 Question and Answer document. The closing date has not been extended. - Dredge entire pond to remove settlements, remove settlements from tanks (leaf debris mostly). - Work will take place in the following county in West Virginia: Jefferson - Period of Performance is 63 days after notice to proceed is issued. - The magnitude of construction is between $25,000 and $100,000. - Request for Quotes (RFQ) 140G0125Q0017 will close January 17, 2025 at 10:00 am pacific standard time. - A site visit will be held on January 7, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. (EST) CONTRACTORS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND THE SITE VISIT. For site visit information please refer to FAR Clauses 52.236-27 and 52.236-27A*1. If you are planning to attend, please email either Dayna Parkin or Roy Dodson at dparkin@usgs.gov or rdodson@usgs.gov to provide you're the names who are going, and emails along with phone numbers no later than 24 hours before the site visit starts. - The NAICS Code is 237990. The size standard is $37.0 million. This acquisition will be 100% Small Business Set Aside. - The anticipated award date of the contract is January 23, 2025. A vendor must be registered at https://www.sam.gov/portal to be eligible for award. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
