Notice of Intent to Sole Source The United States Geological Survey, Office of Acquisition and Grants, Reston Branch, intends to make award on a sole source basis to Genewiz, LLC. for 3-year IDIQ for RNA Seq analysis of avian gut content, blood, and organ tissue. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract under statutory authority Section by FAR 13.106¿1(b)(1)(i), Contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. Any interested companies are welcome to submit their ability to provide the specified products within five (5) days of the issuance of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
