The U.S. Geological Survey intends to make a non-competitive award in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.5 Simplified Acquisition Procedures to Benchmark Mineral Intelligence known as Benchmark for one time purchase of historical and forecast, facility-level data in Excel format for lithium mines, lithium chemicals, nickel mines, nickel refineries, manganese mines, manganese refineries, battery cathodes, and battery mega factories as well as analyst support, to be delivered to USGS, National Minerals Info Center for the period of Award date through one year No option years this time Benchmark is the only available vendor to provide the required subscription. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.501(a). All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation no later than 02/20/2024 which shall be considered by the agency. However, this notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
