The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Virginia-West Virginia Water Science Center (VAWV WSC) intends to award a non-competitive purchase order contract to the Virginia Division of Consolidated Laboratory Services (DLCS), a division within the Virginia Department of General Services (DGS), for water sample analysis collected for the Chesapeake Bay Non-tidal Network. The period of performance will begin at time of award and have 2 option periods. The Virginia Division of Consolidated Laboratory Services (DLCS) is the only organization capable of conducting the water sample analyses requested in a manner that can maintain the proper level of scientific integrity needed for the results for the VAWVWSC studies. and therefore, it is imperative to maintain a high degree of comparability over the years with no loss in scientific integrity. In accordance with FAR 5.207, all responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation which shall be considered by the agency; however, THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY.
