This is a request for quote for sample analysis. USGS, Tennessee Water Science Center is seeking to establish a BPA for 5 years, with no options to exercise and with no minimum or maximum amount or order per year or number of orders per year, to do LMG request for lab sample analysis service to process quality assurance and quality controls samples for the Ambient Ground water quality project. Since the number of samples may vary every year, to accommodate the situations like that, we find it convenient to set up a BPA for five years with flexible criteria like no minimum or maximum per year for the number of samples or the amount, however, there is a "Not to Exceed Amount" of $27,000.00 for the total 5-year period of the BPA. This provides the center the flexibility to send available samples when it is available. Therefore, it is very important for the contractor to bid for unit price per sample and the total price will be calculated from the total number of samples. Every time when the Center is ready to send samples, they need to send funded Purchase Request to Contracting office to prepare individual BPA-Calls for the requested samples in reference to the BPA and the criteria set up. The BPA calls will be processed as fixed Price Contracts. No funding will be obligated for BPA. All charges will be processed through obligations on BPA calls, and they will be fixed price contracts. All contractors interested in bidding shall be registered in SAM and have active UEI#. All quotes shall be sent as an email attachment to me. Work shall be performed IAW attached SOW. Thanks.
