The U.S. Geological Survey Caribbean-Florida Water Science Center has a requirement for a fully found and crewed vessel for USGS coral reef research within the remote Dry Tortugas National Park. This requirement is expected to result in the award of an Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity firm fixed type contract with a 5-year period of performance from date of award. The contractor(s) selected for award will be the best value to the Government, based on the evaluation criteria in the RFQ. Amendment 0001 is implemented to provide questions and answers document along with updating the Performance Based Work Statement. Closing date has not been extended. Vendors are encouraged to read Instructions to Offerors and the applicable evaluation factors specified in the associated clause document. RFQ 140G0124Q0071 will be issued on 02/06/2024 with written quotes due by 02/22/2024. The acquisition is set-aside for small businesses. The NAICS code is 483114, size standard 550 employees. System for Award Management (SAM.gov) registration is required in accordance with FAR 52.204-7. All responsible sources may submit a bid or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
