The purpose of this amendment is to remove the small business set-aside and add the clause at FAR 52.204-27, Prohibition on a ByteDance Covered Application. Specifically, remove 52.219-6 Notice of Small Business Set-Aside and 52.219-27 Post-Award Small Business Program Representation. Award remains subject to the availability of funds. The U.S. Geological Survey, Mineral Resources Program, located in Reston VA, intends to procure an Automated Mineralogy Analyzer consisting of a Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope (FE-SEM) with multiple EDS detectors and integrated automated mineral analysis software. Training and technical support shall be included. Quotes shall provide pricing and itemized component descriptions that meet or exceed the Specifications in Section B.2. This will be a firm fixed-price contract. Quote submissions are due on or before 08/02/2023. The anticipated award date is 8/21/2023. Vendors must be registered at https://www.sam.gov/ to be awarded the contract. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the government.
