The building will house ear... ***Amendment 0001 posted 06/20/2023*** The USGS Virginia Water Science Center has a requirement to construct a new metal framed and sided building with concrete foundation. The building will house earth and water sensing equipment, to be installed inside the building later by USGS. Costs for materials, labor, equipment, and tools to install the building are to be included. The awardee will be responsible for all construction permitting, as well as providing pertinent licensing information and proof of liability insurance. The project must be completed within 30 days of the notice to proceed. There are no option periods. Request for Quote (RFQ) 140G0123Q0163 will be issued on or about 5/10/2023 with written quotes due on or about 05/25/2022. See provision 52.236-27 Site Visit (Construction) in Section L of the solicitation for information on the site visit including the USGS point of contact. This acquisition is a total small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 236220. The size standard is $45 million. The magnitude of construction is between $25,000 and $100,000. A vendor must be registered at https://sam.gov/SAM/ to be awarded the contract. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
