The U.S. Geological Survey intends to award a non-competitive purchase order to Innovative Imaging & Research of Stennis Space Center, MS to purchase two Standard 5MP Solar Powered I2RGUS camera systems for upcoming field studies. The camera systems must be delivered to St. Petersburg, Florida, within 75 after receipt of purchase order The Standard 5 MP Solar Powered I2RGUS camera system is built using the similar components and to the same specifications as the Center owned Argus system. It is essential that there be compatibility of these systems because the images will be uploaded, analyzed, and interpreted for scientific research using the same processing methods and algorithms as the existing Argus camera system. The system is highly specialized for its intended purpose to acquire images that will be analyzed using photogrammetry methods to measure important beach and surf zone parameters. The system must also be comparable in capabilities to those used in the entire network of Argus stations and be able to fully participate in the Coastal Imaging Research Network (CIRN). Innovative Imaging & Research is the only known supplier of this equipment. In accordance with FAR 5.207, all responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation which shall be considered by the agency, however, THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The Government intends to award this requirement noncompetitively in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). Email responses to rlanderson@usgs.gov.
