INTENT TO AWARD - SOLE SOURCE HYDROLOGIC INSTRUMENTS AND EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE AND REPAIRS IN ACCORDANCE WITH STATEMENT OF WORK AND SALIENTS The US Geological Survey (USGS) intends to award a non-competitive purchase order to Hydrotech ZS Consulting for the purchase of HYDROLOGIC INSTRUMENTS AND EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE AND REPAIRS IN ACCORDANCE WITH STATEMENT OF WORK AND SALIENTS. Hydrotech ZS Consulting is the only known source that has the required services that meet the government's minimum needs. This request is for (1) Water Quality (WQ) accessory instrumentation that are used as part of a system to continuously measure a suite of WQ parameters at USGS date collection stations, and (2) equipment repair and maintenance services for three different brands of water quality products. Hydrotech ZS Consulting is the sole manufacturer and supplier of specialty interfaces (E-Hub and Y-Hub) and accessories that provide YSI EXO and 6-Series models with uninterrupted Bluetooth connectivity and simplified SDI-12 communication capability. They are also the only known authorized repair depot for all three brands of YSI, Hydrolab, and Hydrotech WQ sondes, sensors, and cables as well as a reseller of repair parts. The services will be delivered to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Water Mission Area, Hydrologic Instrumentation Facility (HIF), for three years, 07/30/2023 THRU 07/29/2026. In accordance with FAR 5.207, all responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency, however, THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS. The Government intends to award this requirement noncompetitively in accordance with FAR 13.501(a) Email responses to jwalsh@usgs.gov. The NAICS code for this action is 334513, Instruments and Related Products Manufacturing for Measuring, Displaying, and Controlling Industrial Process Variables, with the associated size standard of 750 Employees. Responses or inquiries shall only be accepted through electronic mail addressed to jwalsh@usgs.gov and must be uploaded and received in their entirety no later than 07/27/2023 08:00 AM ED. Responses submitted by hardcopy or through SAM.gov shall not be accepted or considered.
