INTENT TO AWARD - SOLE SOURCE C6P Submersible Fluorometer Pack IN ACCORDANCE WITH SALIENTS This is a notice of intent to solicit from a single source for the USGS California Water Science Center in Sacramento, CA. The US Geological Survey (USGS) intends to award a noncompetitve purchase order to Turner Designs for the purchase of two fluorometer sensors. Turner Designs is the only known source that has the required specifications that meets the government's minimum needs. Turner Design is the sole provider of a 6-parameter in-situ fluorometer that provides simultaneous coverage of multiple critical regions of the EEMs spectra of natural waters. The Water Quality Processes Proxies Project already has ten of these devices in use and the project requires consistency in measurements. In accordance with FAR 5.207, all responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency, however, THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS. The Government intends to award this requirement noncompetitively in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). Email responses to jwalsh@usgs.gov.
