The U.S. Geological Survey intends to award a non-competitive purchase order to EdgeTech of West Wareham, MA for a chirp subbottom profiling system (EdgeTech System) that is capable of being pole mounted on a research vessel and towed from a research vessel to support the St. Petersburg Coastal and Marine Science Center (SPCMSC)Only Edge Tech is an authorized source capable of providing an off-the-shelf integrated chirp source, receiver, motion sensor, and depth sensor to be contained in a single unit (tow vehicle) that can be towed sub-sea surface from a research vessel or mount with manufacturer standard equipment to St. Petersburg Coastal and Marine Science existing Universal Sonar Mount (USM). In accordance with FAR 5.207, all responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation which shall be considered by the agency, however, THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The Government intends to award this requirement noncompetitively in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). Email responses to rlanderson@usgs.gov.
