The U.S. Geological Survey intends to make a non-competitive award to Pychron Labs LLC for installation of non-commercial software that will automate an argon geochronology system built internally by USGS employees. The installation of this highly specialized software system will control a noble gas mass spectrometer, CO2 laser, diode laser, ultra-high vacuum resistance furnace and gas extraction systems built by the USGS to be delivered to USGS, EGPSC located at 12201 Sunrise Valley Drive, Reston, Virginia. This is a one- time purchase and no option years. The Pychron Labs LLC, is the sole source to provide the requested In accordance with FAR 5.207, all responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation which shall be considered by the Agency, however, THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY.
