The United States Geological Survey, Office of Acquisition and Grants, Reston Branch, intends to make award on a sole source basis to Seismic Exchange, Inc. (SEI) 4805 Westway Park Boulevard Houston, TX 77041 for licensing of three dimensional seismic reflection data from the National Petroleum Reserve in Alaska (NPRA) also referred to as the Key Creek North Survey. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract under statutory authority Section by FAR 13.106¿1(b)(1)(i), Contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. Any interested companies are welcome to submit their ability to provide the specified products within fifteen (15) days of the issuance of this notice. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 541360 Geophysical Surveying and Mapping services with a size standard $25.0 million. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation package will be issued. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive quotations. However, responses received by 8/11/2022 2:30 PM Mountain Time will be considered.
