QUANTUM SCAN AND QUANTUM PROCESS SOFTWARE LICENSE RENEWAL AND MAINTENANCE PLAN AND ON-SITE FULL COVERAGE PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE PLAN FOR MEKEL MACH 5(S/N: 150402) The U.S. Geological Survey, Reston Acquisition Branch has a requirement for a maintenance plan on the Mekel Mach 7 microfilm scanners as well license renewal and maintenance on the Quantum Scan and Quantum Process software for two computers IAW Performance Work Statement. The requirement is for One (1) base year period and Four (4) option year periods. Award will be made in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b) and the procedures at FAR Part 12 entitled, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13 entitled, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Market research indicates that Crowley Micrographics is the only source with capabilities to provide Maintenance for Microfilm digitizing film machine and microfilm digitizing software. The purpose of this notice is to satisfy the requirements of FAR Subpart 5.2. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, all responsible parties may submit a quotation by the closing date of this announcement which shall be considered by the agency. No solicitation will be issued. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received is in the sole discretion of the Government. Brand Name Justification is attached. Response due by June 24, 2022 This acquisition is a total small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 811212. The size standard is $27,500,000.00. The anticipated award date of the contract is JUNE 29, 2022. A vendor must be registered at https://www.sam.gov/index.html to be awarded the contract.
