The Department of the Interior, U.S. Geological Survey has a requirement for third party inspection services of new construction. The construction project to be inspected is a new Hydrologic Instrumentation Facility being constructed on a site at University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa, AL. The construction performance period is intended to be March, 2022 through December, 2023. Special Inspections are to be performed during construction to assure that all work is done in accordance with the approved plans and specifications and applicable federal, state, and local building codes. Special Inspections are to be performed by an independent third party with certified special inspectors. Quotes are being requested under Request for Quotes (RFQ) 140G0122Q0060, which will be issued on or about 02/18/2022. The offeror is responsible for monitoring sam.gov for the release of the RFQ and amendments (if any). A performance work statement is not available for release at this time. Quotes will be due on or about 03/10/2022 (exact date/time to be provided in the RFQ). The anticipated award will be firm fixed price, issued on or about 03/25/2022.
