The U.S. Geological Survey Columbia Environmental Research Center (CERC) has a requirement for a flume electrical upgrade in the A3 Admin building at their facility located at 4200 New Haven Road in Columbia, Missouri. The contractor shall provide all materials, labor, equipment, permits, licenses, travel and supervision necessary to remove and replace the existing building main three phase 800-amp disconnect and furnish and install a 600-volt 1200-amp distribution panel rated for use as service equipment with circuit breakers to accommodate the existing main disconnect load. Also, to add an additional circuit for 200-amps of additional load and to furnish and install a step-up 240 to 460-volt three phase transformer to be fed from the additional 200-amp circuit. All work shall be in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and completed by a licensed, electrical contractor. The project must be completed within 30 days of notice to proceed. Bonds required. There are no option periods. Request for Quote (RFQ) 140G0122Q0059 will be issued on or about 3/7/2022 with written quotes due on or about 3/29/2022. See provision 52.236-27 Site Visit (Construction) in Section L of the solicitation for information on the site visit. This acquisition is a 100% Total Small Business set-aside. The NAICS code is 238210. The size standard is $16.5 million. The magnitude of construction is between $100,000 and $250,000. A vendor must be registered at https://sam.gov/SAM/ to be awarded the contract. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
