The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Eastern Ecological Science Center (EESC) has a requirement for a five-year HVAC and building mechanical equipment preventative maintenance and repair work service contract. Primary use of this contract shall be for preventative maintenance although repair work will be on an as-needed basis. This equipment includes, but is not limited to, air handling units (AHU), exhaust fans, air conditioners, chillers, boilers, refrigeration systems, walk-in freezers and coolers, plumbing systems, gas piping systems, and back-flow prevention systems for the EESC Fish Health Branch and Leetown Science Center Administration Building both located at 11649 Leetown Road, Kearneysville, WV 25430. Estimated period of performance is a base year and four option years. Competitive Request for Quotations (RFQ)140G0122Q0037 will be issued on or about 1/28/2022 with written quotes due on 2/22/2022. The NAICS code is 238220 Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors. The size standard is $16.5 million. A vendor must be registered at https://sam.gov/SAM/ to be awarded the purchase order.
