This requirement is a re-solicitation of the cancelled Solicitation No. 140G0121R0017. The original solicitation was cancelled due to a determination that the facility¿s flume project would require 3 phase wiring which would make the generator useless as it is currently configured. After further review, it has been determined the flume project can use single phase wiring and the generator will be able to support the current electrical needs in A3. The U.S. Geological Survey Columbia Environmental Research Center (CERC) has a requirement to install a back-up power supply to the A-3 Main Building located at 4200 New Haven road in Columbia, Missouri. A partial list of requirements includes installing a generator set, automatic transfer switches, and electrical service disconnect switch ahead of the automatic transfer switch and installing concrete mounting pad, underground conduit and wire from generator set to the transfer switch. The contractor shall provide all labor, material, tools, equipment, and supervision necessary. The magnitude of construction is between $250,000 and $500,000. Request for Proposal (RFP) 140G0121R0027 will be issued on or about 8/16/2021 with written quotes due on or about 9/15/2021. Bonds are required. There will be a site visit. All contractors are STRONGLY ENCOURAGED to attend the site visit. See provision 52.236-27 Site Visit (Construction) in Section L of the solicitation for information on the site visit including the USGS point of contact. The NAICS code is 238210. The size standard is $16.5 million. This acquisition is a total small business set-aside. A vendor must be registered at https://sam.gov/SAM/ to be awarded the contract. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. Proposals must be emailed to krschneider@usgs.gov.
