The US Geological Survey (USGS), Woods Hole Coastal & Marine Science Center, Woods Hole, Massachusetts, requires a new trailer for transporting a 25 ft. 11-inch research vessel on U.S. roadways. The trailer will be dedicated to the USGS owned research vessel to transport it to the field work locations and back to the Marine Operations Facility where it is stored and maintained. Refer to RFQ section B.2. for Specifications. CAD drawings of the research vessel are available upon request. This is a firm fixed price contract with 180 day requested delivery date. The solicitation is being conducted under the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and set-aside for small businesses. The NAICS is 336212 and the size standard is 1,000 employees. Reference Instructions for Proposals and Evaluation Factors are in section E.3 and E.5.
