The U.S. Geological Survey Alabama Water Science Center has a requirement for has a requirement to construct a security fence for their fleet parking lot. The contractor shall provide all labor, material, tools, equipment, and supervision necessary to construct a fence around an existing parking lot in order to secure Department of Interior (DOI) vehicles, and privately-owned vehicles of employees. The project must be started within 10 calendar days of award and shall be completed within 120 calendar days of the start of the project. There are no option periods. Request for Quote (RFQ) 140G0121Q0213 will be issued on or about 8/31/2021 with written quotes due on 9/10/2021. There will be a site visit on 9/8/2021 at 9:00 AM Central Standard Time (CST). All contractors are STRONGLY ENCOURAGED to attend the site visit. See provision 52.236-27 Site Visit (Construction) in Section L of the solicitation for information on the site visit including the USGS point of contact. This acquisition is a total small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 238990. The size standard is $16.5 million. The magnitude of construction is less than $25,000. A vendor must be registered at https://sam.gov/SAM/ to be awarded the contract. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
