The U.S. Geological Survey, Eastern Ecological Science Center (formerly Leetown Science Center), based in Kearneysville WV, has a requirement for heating and cooling systems maintenance and emergency repair service in the Aquatic Ecology Laboratory. Periodic maintenance and as-needed repair services will be performed during normal business hours. Requirements are specified in the Performance Work Statement Section B.4., attached. This is a combination fixed price (for maintenance) and time-and-materials (for repairs) contract. The contract will have a base year with four (4) option years. This solicitation is being conducted under the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and set-aside for small businesses. The NAICS is 238220 and the size standard is $16.5 million. The award will be made to the offer that provides the best value to Government considering price and non-price factors approximately equal, with exception. The Instructions for Proposals and Evaluation Factors are in section E.3 and E.5. A vendor must be registered at beta.sam.gov to be awarded the contract.
