The U.S. Geological Survey has a requirement for the installation of a blower motor, housing, ductwork, and electrical for a Mott fume hood located at the Saint Petersburg Coastal and Marine Science Center, Saint Petersburg, Florida. Please note that fume hood installation has already been completed and IS NOT part of this requirement. All work must be completed within 30 days of the date the contractor receives the notice to proceed (NTP). There are no option periods. Competitive Request for Quote (RFQ) 140G0121Q0168 will be issued on or about 07/26/2021 with written quotes due on or about 08/19/2021. An organized site visit will be held, the details for which, including point of contact, can be found in provision 52.236-27 Site Visit (Construction) Alt I in Section L of the RFQ. All contractors are STRONGLY ENCOURAGED to attend the site visit. This acquisition is a total small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 238220. The size standard is $16.5 million. The magnitude of construction is less than $25,000.00. The anticipated award date of the contract is 08/25/2021. A vendor must be registered at https://sam.gov to be awarded the contract.
