The U.S. Geological Survey, New England Water Science Center has a requirement for drilling services, using direct-push and auger methods, to collect aquifer sediment cores and install monitoring wells in coastal southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island. The award will be made to one or more contractors and will be an indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contract. The acquisition is being conducted under the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and set-aside for small businesses. The NAICS code is 213115, size standard $8.0 million. The contractor(s) selected for award will be the best value to the Government, based on the evaluation criteria in the RFQ.
