AMENDMENT 4: The purpose of this amendment is to: 1. clarify Statement of Work Technical Requirement B.xv. to state: The UPS shall be sized to provide at least 1 hour of battery back-up, not 12 hours as stated in Amendment 1. and 2. request best and final pricing from vendors. ORIGINAL DESCRIPTION: The U.S. Geological Survey, Conte Andromous Fish Research Lab, located in Turners Falls, MA, requires the installation of a FIPS 201-2 compliant electronic access control system for the four main buildings and one wooden outbuilding at the facility, including replacement of glass entry doors. The automated cantilever entry gate will also have existing access controls programmed and integrated into the system. A site visit of the facility will be offered. This shall be a firm fixed-price purchase order for a performance period of 120 days. The acquisition is being conducted under the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and set-aside for small businesses. The NAICS code is 561621, Security System Services, Size Standard $20.5 million. The award will be made to the offer that provides the best value to Government based on price, technical documentation, and past performance. RFQ Sections E.3. and E.6. provide instructions and evaluation factors. Vendors must be registered at https://www.sam.gov/ to be awarded the contract.
