The U.S. Geological Survey Columbia Environmental Research Center (CERC) has a requirement for HVAC and building mechanical equipment service repair work on an as-needed basis. Preventative maintenance is currently done in-house. Primary use of this contract shall be to conduct corrective maintenance. This equipment includes, but is not limited to, air handlers, air conditioners, chillers, boilers, refrigeration systems, walk-in freezers and coolers, plumbing systems, gas piping systems, and back-flow prevention systems for the CERC campus located at 4200 New Haven Road, Columbia, Missouri. Throughout the center various auxiliary heating systems have been employed including ceiling mount natural gas and split package system air conditioners. Estimated period of performance for the base year will be 01/16/2021 to 01/15/2022 with the provision of two (2) Option Years. Competitive Request for Quotations (RFQ)140G0121Q0024 will be issued on or about 12/9/2020 with written quotes due on 12/22/2020. The NAICS code is 238220 Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors. The size standard is $16.5 million. The anticipated award date of the contract is 01/8/2021. A vendor must be registered at https://sam.gov/SAM/ to be awarded the purchase order. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
