The overall wastewater treatment system includes sanitary effluent and effluent from process wastewater, both of which discharge to the K Pond. The K Pond is an oxidation and settling pond a surface area of approximately.45 acres. Waters from the K Pond flow through an existing ultraviolet (UV) disinfection system before discharge to Hopewell Run. The project is located at 11649 Leetown Road Kearneysville, WV 25430. The project shall be completed within 90 days after notice to proceed is issued. There are no option periods. The magnitude of construction is between $250,000 - $500,000 Request for Proposals (RFP) 140G01120R0012 will be issued on or about 03/16/2020 with written quotes due on or about 04/16/2020. A site visit will be held. The date, time, and contact info for the site visit can be found in Section L of forthcoming RFP. CONTRACTORS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND THE SITE VISIT. This acquisition will be competed using full and open competition procedures. The NAICS code is 237110. The size standard is $39.5 million. The anticipated award date of the contract is 04/20/2020.
