The U.S. Geological Survey intends to make a non-competitive award to ASL Environmental Sciences, Inc., located Victoria, BC, V8M 125 Canada to perform upgrades of two ASL Iris autonomous sonar datalogging systems (s/n 1011 and 1012) to enhance their capabilities to be able to setup and log an Imagenex 881A-GS Rotary Digital Imaging Sonar with gyro-stabilization option. The new enhanced loggers are needed for a field study being planned for early 2021 to be delivered to USGS, Marine Operations Facility, 11 Woods Hole Road, Falmouth, MA 02540 90 days of award. There are no option periods. ASL Environmental Sciences, Inc.is the original manufacturer of this software and maintains proprietary data rights to the software and has no known authorized repair facilities. The required software is of a highly specialized nature and integrates into existing equipment. In accordance with FAR 5.207, all responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation which shall be considered by the agency, however, THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY.
