The U.S. Geological Survey intends to award a non-competitive purchase order to The Woods Hole Group, Inc. of Bourne, MA, (previously known as CLS America, Inc.) for the for satellite data collection and location processing required to monitor currently deployed and future Argos satellite transmitters on multiple marine vertebrate species for the Wetland and Aquatic Research Center (WARC). The period of performance will be one base year and four one-year option years. The Woods Hole Group, Inc. the exclusive provider of Argos satellite telemetry services for scientific and environmental applications. In accordance with FAR 5.207, all responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation which shall be considered by the agency, however, THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The Government intends to award this requirement noncompetitively in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). Email responses to krschneider@usgs.gov.
