TITLE: Python-Based GUI for Curvilinear Orthogonal Grid Generation The U.S. Geological Survey, Woods Hole Coastal and Marine Science Center is soliciting for an open source software package written in Python, utilizing Holoviz and PyGridgen to create a package for interactive construction of orthogonal curvilinear grids. The contractor assigned will furnish an open-source product that provides this functionality, along with a suite of tests that confirm the tool is functioning as designed. The contract will be firm fixed priced with expected delivery approximately four months from date of contract award. The purchase is being conducted under the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 541511 and the size standard is $30 million. The award will be made to the offer that provides the best value to Government. Past performance, technical capability and technical expertise, when combined are approximately equal to price. The contractor must have demonstrated expertise in geospatial data processing and management; statistical analysis techniques; web tool development; and open source coding/scripting.
