TITLE: Monthly Bio-Hazardous Waste Removal & Disposal - St. Petersburg, Florida The US Geological Survey (USGS), St. Petersburg Science Center has a requirement for biohazardous waste disposal from the center on a monthly basis, for a base period with four option years to begin 08/15/2020. The Biohazard Level 2 waste is generated form a microbiology lab. Services include analyses, fate determination, manifesting and documentation, pick-up, transportation, labeling, and audit trails until ultimate treatment or disposal. Requirements are described in the work statement, Section B.3. The contract will be a firm fixed price, small business set-aside contract. The purchase is being conducted under the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The NAICS code is 562112 and the size standard is $41.5 million. The award will be made to the offeror that provides the best value to Government considering price more important than technical capability.
