The US Geological Survey (USGS), Caribbean/Florida Water Science Center in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, has a requirement to have hazardous and universal waste removed from the center. Services include analyses, fate determination, manifesting and documentation, pick-up, transportation, labeling, and audit trails until ultimate treatment or disposal. Requirements are described in the work statement, attached. The contract will be firm fixed price performed in accordance with section 3.c. of the work statement. The purchase is being conducted under the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and competed using full and open competition. For reference, the NAICS code is 541360 and the size standard is $38.5 million. The award will be made to the offer that provides the best value to Government based on technical capabilities/experience and price. The last portion of RFQ Section E provides instructions and evaluation criteria. The deadline for quote packages is May 11, 2020, 17:00 ET.
