The U.S. Geological Survey intends to award a non-competitive purchase order to Telonics, Inc., located in 932 E Impala Ave, Mesa, Arizona, for Iridium-linked GPS Telemetry tags for sea turtles and manatees. The items will be delivered to the USGS Wetland and Aquatic Research Center in Gainesville, Florida. Telonics, Inc. is the only known source to provide Iridium-linked GPS tag with whitelisted Department of Defense Gateway modems adapted for tethered tracking devices on manatees and sea turtle attachments. In accordance with FAR 5.207, all responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation which shall be considered by the agency; however, THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The Government intends to award this requirement noncompetitively in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1).
