Geological Survey, Caribbean-Florida Water Science Center (CFWSC) has a requirement to establish two monitoring stations on the Intracoastal Water Way in Gulf County, Florida. The selected vendor will obtain permits and install pilings to mount monitoring equipment wells in accordance with all applicable state laws in the vicinity of Latitude 29.887 and Longitude -85.249. The project shall be completed within 60 days after notice to proceed is issued. There are no option periods. The magnitude of construction is between $25,000 -$100,000 Request for Quote (RFQ) 140G0119Q0232 will be issued on or about 08/22/2019 with written quotes due on or about 09/04/2019. A site visit will be held. A minimum of 24 hours advance notice MUST be given Ronald Knapp 850.363.1049 or rgknapp@usgs.gov for attendees of the site visit. The date, time, and contact info for the site visit can be found in Section L in the Request for Quote (RFQ). CONTRACTORS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND THE SITE VISIT.
