This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, St Catherine and Bayou Cocodrie NWRs have a requirement for purchase and delivery of bulk fuel. The contract will be for Base and (4) Option Years. The anticipated Period of Performance is as follows: Base contract: 01 April 2023 to 29 February 2024. Option Year 1: 01 April 2024 to 28 February 2025 Option Year 2: 01 April 2025 to 28 February 2026 Option Year 3: 01 April 2026 to 28 February 2027 Option Year 4: 01 April 2027 to 29 February 2028 This Request for Quotation (RFQ is conducted under the procedures of FAR Parts 12 and 13, incorporating provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2021-05. The NAICS code is 324191. Instructions All responsible business sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by the agency. Award will be made as a firm-fixed-price contract. The basis of award is the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA), see technical acceptability requirement below. The vendor that submits the lowest priced quote, meeting the technical acceptability requirement, will be awarded the contract. Award will be made to a responsible source pursuant to FAR subpart 9.1. Technical Acceptability: Any quote must conform to the Salient Characteristics and all other aspects of the requirements document. Delivery is FOB destination. Please submit your quotation (showing unit and total price) on company letterhead or the enclosed SF- 1449 form with DUNS No. and point of contact phone number and e-mail address. Additionally, if your company holds a GSA contract that would apply to this requirement, please provide the contract number.
