MI-PENDILLS CRK NFH Refurbishment and transfer of fish transportation tank from existing chassis to new Freightliner M2-112 for Pendills Creek National Fish Hatchery The intent of this Pre-Solicitation synopsis is to notify potential offerors of the upcoming solicitation for a contract at US Fish and Wildlife Service, Pendills Creek National Fish Hatchery. This is NOT a request for a quote, proposal, or invitation for bid. On behalf of Pendills Creek National Fish Hatchery, USFWS Joint Administrative Operations, Acquisition & Property, Goods and Services, SAT 2 Team intends to issue a firm-fixed Purchase order. Refurbishment and transfer of fish transportation tank from existing chassis to new Freightliner M2-112. This 3,000-gallon custom built tank is equipped with multiple life support systems incorporated into the design. The tank was constructed and mounted on a 2008 vehicle chassis in 2015. A new chassis has been purchased for the tank so it must be transferred over. While the unit is down, maintenance is required on the tank to maintain its performance and appearance. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) number is 336211, Motor Vehicle Body Manufacturing, and the business size standard is 1000. The procurement will be Small Business Set Aside. The Government anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price type contract with a period of performance 08-01-2024-02-01-2025. (Subject to change) The solicitation will be available 06-03-2024 (or thereafter) with a proposed closing date of 06-24-2024. This solicitation will be available in electronic format only. Once posted, offerors can view and/or download the solicitation at www.sam.gov. Qualified Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to provide offers electronically to the listed Contract Specialist on the solicitation.
