The Department of the Interior¿s, U.S Fish and Wildlife, JAO SAT Team 1 hereby publicizes its intention to solicit, negotiate, and award a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) purchase order on a noncompetitive basis with Johnson Controls under simplified acquisition procedures. The requirement is to purchase the following: ITEM 0001 HVAC Preventative Maintenance ITEM 0002 HVAC Preventative Maintenance Option Year 1 ITEM 0003 HVAC Preventative Maintenance Option Year 2 ITEM 0004 HHVAC Preventative Maintenance Option Year 3 ITEM 0004 HVAC Preventative Maintenance Option Year 4 Based on the approved sole source justification Johnson controls provided notice that their Metasys system is a proprietary system and needs to be worked on by the manufacturer in order to be given the proper warrantees and licenses. Johnson controls holds exclusive rights to this system and any modification of their installed equipment by outside contractors will void warrantees. Therefore, there is only one responsible source and no other supplier will satisfy the agency requirement.
